Why We Built Humanoids: Our Origin Story
From a notebook sketch to a full technology education platform — the journey behind the mission.
Humanoids began as a sketch in a notebook. A simple idea: what if there was a program that actually prepared young people for the real world of technology?
The founders had seen too many students graduate from school without the skills to get a job, start a business, or build the things they imagined. The education existed — but it was scattered, inaccessible, or out of touch with what the industry actually needed.
The Idea
The idea was to build something different. Not just a coding bootcamp. Not just a school. A complete ecosystem — courses, hiring, consultations, investment, and community — all centred on one goal: transforming young people into real technology professionals.
The First Step
The first step was simple: start teaching. The founders gathered a small group of students, set up a classroom, and began running sessions every Saturday and Sunday. The response was immediate. Students were hungry for this kind of education.
What We Learned
In those early sessions, we learned what worked and what didn't. We learned that students didn't just need technical skills — they needed confidence, mentorship, and community. They needed to see people who looked like them succeeding in technology.
We built Humanoids around those lessons. Four courses, each more advanced than the last. Instructors who are practitioners, not just teachers. A hiring pathway that gives graduates real opportunities. A community that continues after the classroom.
Today
Today, Humanoids is a growing platform with students across multiple cities and a community of companies looking to hire our graduates. But we have not lost sight of where we started — a sketch in a notebook and a belief that the next generation deserves better.
