What to Expect in the Developers Course
A deep dive into what our Level 02 students build, ship, and learn during a full year with us.
The Developers Course — Level 02 at Humanoids — is where things get real. Students who have completed our Introduction to Technology course (or who have equivalent experience) enter a full year of hands-on development education.
Here is what to expect.
The Curriculum
The year is structured around building real things. From the very first month, students are writing code, building projects, and getting feedback from instructors who work in the industry.
The curriculum covers HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in depth. Students learn React and modern frontend development. They build APIs, work with databases, and learn to deploy their applications to the web. By the end of the year, every student has a portfolio of real projects they can show to potential employers.
The Schedule
Classes run every Saturday and Sunday, two hours per session. The pace is demanding but sustainable. Students are expected to practice between sessions and to bring their work to class for review.
The Projects
Projects are at the heart of the Developers Course. Students build a personal portfolio site, a full-stack web application, and a collaborative team project. Each project is reviewed by instructors and, in many cases, by industry mentors.
What Comes Next
Developers Course graduates are ready to work. Many go on to freelance, join startups, or continue to our Innovators & Builders course. A select few are considered for in-house positions at Humanoids.
The Developers Course is not just a course — it is a launchpad.
